I wrote a little tool, that lets you shutdown the dlink DNS-323 NAS remotely from a WinXP computer with Mozilla Firefox as standard browser!

1. Download the dlink-323-halt.zip

2. unpack it in a new folder (f.e. C:\Program Files\dlink-323-halt\)

3. IMPORTANT: Edit the "dlink323.ini" and insert the right password and IP-address of your NAS device

4. run the "halt_dlink323_firefox.exe"

ATTENTION: Absolutely no warranty! If you get in trouble: Good luck!

New version for firefox: firefox_shutdown-dl323.zip

Same for IE7 now: ie7_shutdown_dl323.zip

That one should be universal (browser-independent): universal_shutdown_dl323_v0.1.zip
