Citrix Access Gateway install problem - Unable to manage network component

Unable to manage networking component. Operating system corruption may be preventing installation.

Okay ... I received my shiny new laptop at work with Windows 7 Ultimate 64.
After installing all my tools, that make my day, I had to get my Citrix Access Gateway connection up and running.

Problem:
When I tried to install the Plugin (CitrixAGP), I received following message:

Unable to manage networking component. Operating system corruption may be preventing installation.

Access Gateway Plugin Install Error

Then the installer stops continuing. Thats all.

Solution:
After browsing the Citrix forums and the web, I found following solution at http://myshareofsharingknowledge.blogspot.de:

The maximum number of network filter drivers in Windows 7 is 14.

Default is set to 8.

Set it to 9 in the the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\MaxNumFilters

That did the trick for me. After that, I was able to install the Access Gateway Client.
